Badminton At Ptengland School
I was sort of nervous when I waited in the hall with my class. We were waiting for our badminton teacher. When she walked into the hall I started to have butterfly’s in my stomach. Suddenly I was scared.
I found out that there were 3 main hits that you should use to play with. Forehand, this hit is when you want to hit it across your body. Backhand, when you hit it normally. Over head is when you hit it above your head. Our teacher Dona was very kind but, I must say that the hardest skill that she taught me was serving.
I was hitting the shuttle over the net. The shuttle made a whirring sound as it went back and forth, back and forth, until... “OUT!!!” Everyone yelled at me out because I hit the shuttle outside the line. I was disappointed. A few minutes later it was all most my turn again. This time I was determined to win against my opponents.
All the playing made me tired and thirsty. We said bye to Dona since it was her last day teaching us. On Friday we will be having a different teacher. I was going to remember all the skills that Dona taught me and show it to our new teacher.
